Grade 5
Students worked with tempura paint and printmaking to create fall landscape collages. They were inspired by the work of Eloise Renouf and her beautiful prints to create their trees and prints. All of them came together beautifully to add color to the hallways. Hopefully some are up on your refrigerators at home already!
Grade 6
Sixth graders worked with symmetry to work on collages as well. They first were inspired by the Dia de los Muertos to create sugar skull designs and then worked with their name in cursive to create a mirror image to make their skull bones :) They then added embellishments to create a fun skeleton collage with painted papers and construction paper.
Grade 7
I could not be more proud of the 7th graders who worked with pen & ink techniques and architectural elements to produce haunted houses. They worked large scale at 16x20 and they look fantastic!!! All will be going up in the halls soon to get the kids excited about the season.
Check out the bulletin board in the front lobby!!! Great Fall theme :)
